Laminate floors

Laminate is a floating floor that can be installed over existing vinyl flooring or even concrete subfloor. It's also easy to maintain, easy to install and much more affordable than traditional hardwood.

Laminate Wooden Flooring is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product, fused together with a lamination process. Laminate Wooden Flooring has gained popularity, because it is easier to install and maintain than more traditional surfaces like Hardwood Flooring. It's also scratch resistant, as well as water resistant. The core layer of Laminate Flooring is high-density fiberboard (HDF). There's also medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Both HDF and MDF are made from softwood fibers that are broken down, combined with a wax and resin binder, and formed into panels using heat and pressure. However, HDF offers superior stability and strength when compared with MDF for the production of laminate flooring, it makes a better floor.

The thickness is about 8mm and 12mm. It comes in various colors and textures. It is made of 4 layers namely Backer paper, HDF core or board, decorative paper and finally wear or overlay layer on top.
